LifeLock Customer Reviews
The net has holes....
Twice during the month of August, I was contacted by banks / credit providers who wrote to me saying "there is a problem with your application for a credit account, you must contact us immediately". So I did... And it both cases, someone was using "parts" of my identity to open a charge account. One of the applications had gotten to the point where the card was already mailed to the crook and had to be shut down immediately. In the other case, the only thing that triggered the inquiry was a inconsistency in personal information. In both of these cases, there had to be "flags" on someone's radar....wouldn't you think? I have a freeze on my credit, but I would think the two applications should have alerted someone at LifeLock as well. These two latest examples are not the first time it's happened either. You've either got to jump in the game with both feet or get out. There are no "levels of protection". There's only "you are protected....or you are not". If I'm not....then I don't need your services. I don't really know which protection package I have at this time. It is a free benefit through AOL. But I can definitely say, if I was paying for the service....I'd be cancelling it. Not good.....
