LifeLock Customer Reviews

not worth the money

By Michael J Murray, member for 6 years, on Feb 08, 2016

I get free standard service with my company after cancelling ultimate plus that I had paid for on my own three years. It sucked. They were completely unaware of the most simple things. Example: My credit card company issued me a new card after being caught up in the Home Depot ID theft situation, and Lifelock had no clue. They continued to track my old card as though it were still active six months later. Bottom line is the credit card companies already provide you with "ultimate premium" service because it is in their best interest to do so. Lifelock only exists to drain you of your money. Who cares about sexual offenders who move into your neighborhood if you can do nothing about it? I'd rather not know that kind of stuff, and besides you can find it out for free. I take my company's free "standard" offer because everyone else does and I'm trying to be supportive of their offerings since it is an upstart that I hope will grow. There is no way I would ever I pay for this service again, and I pray this honest review does not cause them to target me in some way. I'm a lifetime NRA member and they got me started with this, at a discount at the time. My bill was $350 per year, and you can never get a refund for dissatisfaction, not matter what the company says. They have rules that prevent that from happening. Also, tried to add a photo at the end of this and it crashed my firefox browser. This company does not like bad reviews. Be careful folks. If you are reading this I will be amazed.
