Although you read the brochures and know generally what LifeLock does until you have an issue you don't realize the sevice's value. When someone recently tried to open an account in my name with my SSN, LifeLock identified it, contacted me (via phone and email), opened a fraud claim when I just touched a button, personally put me in touch with the vendor and then contacted the credit bureaus to put a fraud alert on my bureau reports. It took less than an hour and I feel the service was invaluable as I have been a target of credit card fraud 3 times in the last year. Worth every cent due to the recent retail card intrusions.
