The agent reviewing your case may not be as diligent as you'd hope or believe. I was completing my profile on Lifelock. The progress meter was inching its way towards 100%. Then, at 95% it stopped. I had answered every question. Given all my account(s) information. Why wasn't the profile at 100%? What was I missing? To find out, I e-mailed Lifelock with that very same question. Their answer: "Thank you for your email. When reviewing your information be sure to note that if there is a section that you have not added additional information you must click the box at the top of the page labeled "I don't have another'. Once you click this box for each section asking for information the account will show 100% profile completeness." That should do it right? Well first of all, in the accounts section, you are limited on the number of accounts tracked. Consequently, if I had "another" account to add to the tracking list, the system would not accept it. Second, one of the accounts that I submitted, the credentials were incorrect. I removed that account from the profile (I received 5 alerts that the credentials were invalid BEFORE the response to my e-mail). Well, obviously that was it right? Invalid credentials = incomplete profile. NOPE. As it turned out - my GENDER was missing from the profile. My GENDER, one of the first things we fill out. How/why it was missing I do not know, but once I checked my gender - POOF 100%. It was not a "I do not have another", or "Invalid credentials". I am so glad the computer checked my profile for completeness but the help from a real person was lacking. I found the missing gender by accident. So, when you have a question, try to be as specific as possible, and then check the answers - or get another opinion. The agent reviewing your case may not be as diligent as you'd hope or believe.
