I called to report someone had opened a Capital One credit card account using my name address and SS #. The guy I talked to made no effort to assist me. All he was concerned with was the date the identity theft happened hoping it was before I started coverage with LifeLock. I told him I had been a member for over a year and had just renewed my coverage. He said there was not anything he could do until I found the exact date of the ID theft. I then called ProtectmyID and they got right on the problem and placed a credit alert on all three credit agencies. I will not be renewing my membership again.
